Film and Tape Transfer Services

Here at MPD Video, we use the most professional and high-quality methods to transfer your home movie footage to digital format, and we do so much more than just transfer it - we turn it into a true family keepsake! Unlike many other transfer services, we review all video footage to ensure proper transfer, provide logical transitions between scenes, remove “junk” footage/blank spots in your footage, name/label your final video files appropriately, and we even review your final files as an added level of quality assurance!

• TAPE TRANSFER TO HARD DRIVE OR FLASH DRIVE - includes transfer of footage to our system, review of footage to ensure proper transfer, deletion of "junk" footage (i.e. blank spots or footage taped over with old TV shows, etc.), processing of digital files, QA/review of final files, and naming/labeling final files by tape name, date of footage, or event. If your tapes aren't full, we prorate so you only pay for the actual amount of footage on your tapes. Final pricing depends on delivery format, drive size required, and amount of footage transferred. • NOTE:  Minimum project fee of $75.00.

Edited video lengths may result in less than the original video footage length due to removal of unusable footage. Editing fees may be applied in addition to transfer fees if editing is requested. We can provide you with an estimate of fees and any additional recommendations once we receive and review your footage, so you'll be aware of fees and options before proceeding with the project.
