Film and Tape Transfer Services

 Here at MPD Video, we use the most professional and high-quality methods to transfer your home movie footage, and we can do so much more than just transfer it - we can turn it into a true family keepsake! Unlike many other transfer services, we review all video footage to ensure proper transfer, provide logical transitions between scenes, and if desired, we can produce a DVD of your footage with a menu for easy scene selection by date or event! You can even receive a commemorative storage case using a photo of your choice, or we can design custom artwork for the label and case using images from your actual home movie footage! 

If you don't need a DVD and simply want your footage transferred to digital format, we're happy to help with that too!

• FULL TAPE TRANSFER TO DVD - includes review of footage, arranging your footage in a logical order (if needed), deletion of "junk" footage (i.e. blank spots, footage taped over with old TV shows, etc.), custom color artwork on your DVD and case, a scene-selection menu, and all other features stated above. Pricing is $35 per hour of video footage transferred to DVD (if your tapes aren't full, we prorate so you only pay for the actual amount of footage on your tapes).
   
• BASIC TAPE TRANSFER TO HARD DRIVE, FLASH DRIVE OR DVD - includes transfer and review of footage and deletion of "junk" footage, but does not include arranging footage in a logical order or a scene-selection menu. Pricing is less than full transfer pricing; final hourly rate depends on delivery format, options, and packaging selected (i.e. custom color DVD artwork or black & white text DVD artwork). Please contact us to discuss which delivery format, options, and packaging you prefer and we'll provide you with pricing.
   
• ​FILM TRANSFER - please contact MPD Video (pricing varies depending on type of film and amount of footage). 
   
• NOTE:  Minimum project fee of $50.00.
   

Edited video lengths may result in less than the original video footage length due to removal of unusable footage. Editing fees may be applied in addition to transfer fees depending on the condition of your footage. We can provide you with an estimate of fees once we receive and review your footage, so you'll be aware of your fees before proceeding with the  project.
